3º – Cast Away (Robert Zemeckis, 2000)
After surviving an air disaster, a man finds himself completely isolated on an island, having to learn to cope with his new way of life. ‘Cast Away’ is a great movie, but all the brilliance of the play is due to the presence of Tom Hanks. There is no room for other characters in the plot, this is a one-man movie, and the presence of a quality actor was essential for us to continue to remember and put this great star in the adventure genre.
2º – Lawrence of Arabia (David Lean, 1962)
The film shows the adventure of an English officer in his quest to lead an Arab tribe to combat the Turks in the midst of World War I. The more than three hours faced by the viewer are rewarding with each passing minute, allocating this movie among the greats of his decade.
1º – Rain Man (Barry Levinson, 1988)
After the death of his father, a young businessman discovers that the man left all his money to an unknown son. Now the young man will investigate who this unknown strange brother is. ‘Rain Man’ is an irreproachable work, bringing two incredible characters to the central arch of history, working to show how certain people can change the path of our lives.
