9º – American Hustle (David O. Russell, 2013)The plot presents the nuances of the forced relationship between some swindlers and FBI members. Bringing a nostalgic aura to unleash scenes, the film has a skilful direction, a concise script, competent performances, with appearances by names like Amy Adams, Christian Bale and Jennifer Lawrence, and, in its most positive aspect, a permeated soundtrack by music classics.
8º – Body Heat (Lawrence Kasdan, 1981)Wrapped in a small town, a man begins a romance with a married woman. Little by little, the woman convinces the man to start a plan to kill her husband. However, nothing is as it seems, and man will have his life at risk with the passage of time. Pearl of the 1980s, ‘Body Heat’ works with an engaging and always dynamic plot, bringing, also, the figure of the actress Kathleen Turner interpreting the femme fatale of the work.
