3º – The Vanishing (George Sluizer, 1988)
After his girlfriend inexplicably disappears from a gas station, a man finds himself completely obsessed with finding out what had happened to his lifemate. Suspense sad and based on the development of life to frighten the viewer, ‘The Vanishing’ is a terrifying work on the strangest human motivations and the impossibility that we have to overcome certain facts of our history.
2º – Se7en (David Fincher, 1995)
The film shows the hunt for two detectives by a serial killer who uses capital sins as motivations for his crimes. Directed by David Fincher, one of the biggest names in today’s thriller genre, “Se7en” has a concise script, an assertive atmosphere creation and, of course, an incredible plot twist.
1º – Unbreakable (M. Night Shyamalan, 2000)
After surviving a train accident that had killed all but him, a man discovers that he feeds special powers. Now, with the help of his son and a strange man, he will try to help the world. Directed by Plot twists king, the great M. Night Shyamalan, ‘Unbreakable’ is as surprising as ‘The Sixth Sense’ (director’s previous film), bringing a concise and irresistible plot, plus twists that surprise all viewers.
