5º – Summer School (Carl Reiner, 1987)
Seeking simply to enjoy his summer vacation, a teacher has his plans frustrated when he is assigned the task of teaching to a group of young misfits. ‘Summer School’ uses its warm and unappealing atmosphere about school life to govern its fun plot.
4º – Deliverance (John Boorman, 1972)
A group of middle-aged friends decide to practice canoeing on a lake in a small town. However, the residents of the place present themselves as less pleasant than men thought, leaving them in rustic and extreme situations. ‘Deliverance’ initially seems to be a simple thriller with a productive cast, magnificent ambiance and a dynamic direction. However, with the unfolding of the plot, we are seeing increasingly disturbing events being exposed in each scene, resulting in an exacerbated event that leaves anyone impacted.
