9º – Basic Instinct (Paul Verhoeven, 1992)A police officer sees completely obsessed with the figure of a suspicious woman in a series of murders. Less valued than it should be, ‘Basic Instinct’ is one of the great suspensefuls of the 1990s, working with an unretouchable plot that exposes a growing degree of mystery. Another point of extreme quality of the film is its direction and the performances of the layer that commands the central characters of the story, with the presence of Michael Douglas and Sharon Stone.
8º – Body Heat (Lawrence Kasdan, 1981)Surrounded by a small town, a man starts a romance with a married woman. Little by little, the woman convinces the man to initiate a plan to kill her husband. However, nothing is as it seems, and the man will have his life at risk over time. A pearl of the 1980s, ‘Body Heat’ works with an engaging and always dynamic plot, bringing, still, the figure of actress Kathleen Turner interpreting the femme fatale of the work.
