7º – The Unbearable Lightness of Being (Philip Kaufman, 1988)
Allocated in the late 1960s, the film brings the journey of a doctor and his discovery of love in a young woman, having as secondary figure to the events of history the troubled city of Prague at the time. ‘The Unbearable Lightness of Being’ is a productive adaptation of Milan Kundera’s novel, with a dense plot that makes no concessions to the spectator when it shows unpleasant events of the human heart in the world.
