1º – Blind Chance (Krzysztof Kieslowski, 1987)
Three variations of a man’s life are exposed to the viewer over whether or not to catch a train. ‘Blind Chance’ is a masterpiece in all its concepts. A film that deals with the power that simple fragments of a man’s life can contain to alter his whole future. The cool thing here is that, while pinning all of its base on the conceptual aspect of chance, the film provokes its viewer with one of the most shocking final scenes of cinema with the notion of predestination.
