8º – Venus in Fur (Roman Polanski, 2013)
An actress arrives, late, for a test of a central character in a play. Therefore, the director refuses to take a test with the woman because of his delay. However, the woman can convince him to observe it in some lines of the play, starting at this point a change in the role of power between the two. ‘Venus in Fur’ is a film that works with several concepts in the course of its plot, but the most present theme, perhaps, is the obsession of the director by the figure of the actress. The obsession is portrayed by the film as an instance of life that works by destroying moral and ethical concepts, leaving the individual exposed to a gigantic influence of their instinctive and completely irrational capacities.

7º – Nightcrawler (Dan Gilroy, 2014)
The film tells the story of a man who, after desperately seeking a job, discovers that life as an accident photographer made more money than he appeared. The man becomes more and more obsessed with his work, managing to completely manipulate some items of accidents, turning off his moral apparatus and entering a state where the moral moorings are loosened.
