6º – I Hired a Contract Killer (Aki Kaurismäki, 1990)
Faced with a life of insane routines, a middle-aged man decides that his passage on earth should end after being fired from the place where he had spent 15 years. Failing to take his own life, the man decides to hire a professional killer to do the job for him. The problem arises when the man falls in love and realizes that his life could still give him some satisfaction. ‘I Hired a Contract Killer’ is a great comedy, unraveling the melancholy aspect of some places and people and delivering the concept of loneliness as a kind of cancer that erodes the human essence slowly.

5º – Jeanne Dielman (Chantal Akerman, 1975)
A widow rules her day-to-day habits of the same, caring for her home and helping her teenager with necessary chores. The film has more than three hours of duration, telling its story in a very slow way, exposing to the spectator all the desperate substance of that routine of habits guided by the woman.
