1º – Wild Strawberries (Ingmar Bergman, 1957)An old man is forced to face the existential emptiness that his life has transformed after ruling his life by an inseparable coldness in social contacts. ‘Wild Strawberries’ shows how past experiences can never be recovered or transformed and ponders the nostalgic nihilistic aspect that ultimately pulls the individual out of the real world.
