6º – Edward Scissorhands (Tim Burton, 1990)A man with scissors in place of hands, isolated throughout his life in a large castle, is invited to be part of the social arc of a small town by a cosmetics salesperson. Now the young man will have the mission to face prejudice by his physical condition and to learn a new way of life. Tim Burton’s masterpiece, ‘Edward Scissorhands’ is inserted in this list by the romance between the central character and the daughter of the cosmetics saleswoman, an instance that moves in a completely different way from the one we are accustomed to seeing.
