3º – Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (Martin McDonagh, 2017)
A mother’s journey in search of answers to her daughter’s murder is distinguished by the film, always against the backdrop of a critique of society’s ways of governing its forms of social exchange and its destructive layer that affects many lives. Three Announcements for a Crime’ is an intelligent film in its decision making, working with an engaging plot that manages to completely capture the attention of the spectators.
2º – Toy Story 4 (Josh Cooley, 2019)
The arrival of a new toy awakens the adventurous sense of Woody and his class, making everyone start a great journey. Toy Story 4′ follows the good quality of previous films, counting on few changes, but the same brightness in its atmosphere that makes this animation so emblematic.
1º – Dumbo (Tim Burton, 2019)
Dumbo’ brings all the charm of Tim Burton’s cinema mixed with the brilliance of Helen Aberson’s novel. A touching film that will certainly move you in a few moments. Unfortunately, this adaptation of ‘Dumbo’ didn’t gain much notoriety, but it’s still a great option.
