5º – Panic Room (David Fincher, 2002)
A woman and her daughter move to a beautiful new home to build their new lives. However, the house has as small peculiarity a safe room to save the members of the place in a possible accident or invasion. The movie earns its substance just by exploring this room, when the two have to lock themselves in place to escape an assault. ‘Panic Room’, directed by the great David Fincher, is claustrophobic at every turn, using a story that chills its viewer to the detriment of the tension emitted to each plane.
