4º – Climax (Gaspar Noé, 2018)A group of French dancers meet in a ballroom for a night of rehearsals and a celebration. The problem is that everyone ends up consuming a drink adulterated with what would be a hallucinogenic drug. That’s where we’ll enter one of the craziest and most disturbing nights ever exhibited in the seventh art. ‘Climax’ is undoubtedly a recent masterpiece of cinema coming from the no less incredible films of Gaspar Noah. A film permeated with philosophical and cinematic references that ends up being registered in our heads even after its end.
3º – There Will Be Blood (Paul Thomas Anderson, 2007)We will spend several years in the life of an unscrupulous man, seeing his erratic way of conducting his life and his incessant hatred for the human apparatus. ‘There Will Be Blood’ is a masterpiece in all instances, bringing even the greatest current in the history of cinema, with the unmatched performance of Daniel Day-Lewis.
