An army captain begins a personal investigation to find out why a fellow escaped shortly before receiving a medal of honor. In the investigation, little by little, the man will realize that the life of this companion was much more obscure than it seemed, entering to a not very pleasant routine and, still, falling in love with the strange figure of his ex-girlfriend: ‘Confession’, another noir in this list, has an irresistible model of fragmenting his concise history, bringing the figure of one of the most distinct “femme fatales” of the seventh art, interpreted by actress Lizabeth Scott.
