7º – Christine (John Carpenter, 1983)
Based on Stephen King’s novel, the film tells the story of two teenagers who have their routines completely altered after one of them becomes obsessed with an old car he bought. The plot gains its force when the behavior of this obsessed teenager by the car begins to become violent, leaving his best friend intrigued by the situation. ‘Christine’ takes advantage of many of the good elements of King’s book, also using the legendary John Carpenter’s direction to give quality to the compendium of scenes.
