1º – Christine (Antonio Campos, 2016)
Based on a true story, the film, which takes shape in the mid-1970s, features the life of American journalist Christine Chubbuck, showing the woman’s drive for success in her career, as well as her exacerbated model of coping with her ways of social exchange. ‘Christine’ is certainly not meant to be watched in times of emotional instability. His punctual and honest conceptual content moves to the same extent that it frightens his viewer by working on borderline personality disorder and major depressive disorder in his central character.
