3º – Still Alice (Richard Glatzer, 2014)
After being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, a middle-aged woman will have to change every instance of her life and the people around her in order to prepare for the disease. ‘Still Alice’ is sad in every scene conveyed to her audience, bringing an extremely important subject that must be studied for the movies.
2º – Fruitvale Station (Ryan Coogler, 2013)
We will spend some time accompanying the daily life of a young black man before a tragic event in his life. Based on a recent real event, ‘Fruitvale Station’ is a film not recommended for all audiences, in view of its sad and discouraging compendium. However, this book also presents an accurate view of the veiled presence of racism in an American society.
1º – Amour (Michael Haneke, 2012)
An old man has to deal with the changes in his life after his wife gets sick. Sad, ‘Amour’, directed by the Austrian Michael Haneke, is irreplaceable from the first to the last minute. A film that manages to capture as few as the intricacies of the final period of life, bringing to the viewer a powerful story.
