5º – Lethal Weapon (Richard Donner, 1987)
A veteran policeman, about to retire, has to agree to make an unlikely duo with another fellow professional, a young man with a suicidal behaviour. The film will focus on the various adventures the two will go through in the cases they are charged with investigating. A memorable work from the 1980s, ‘Lethal Weapon’ ends up combining action and comedy, providing the viewer with an amusing and always dynamic film.
4º – Big Trouble in Little China (John Carpenter, 1986)
A tough trucker ends up in another world’s mess by mere chance, having to face a gang with paranormal powers to recover his truck and a kidnapped girl. Pearl of the 1980s, ‘Big Trouble in Little China’ is a delightful film. Its plot, which follows a more unpretentious pattern of history, manages to entertain and amuse the viewer every minute.
