A man wrongly convicted of his wife’s murder will have to rediscover his life inside a prison, meeting some incredible people and stories in place. ‘The Shawshank Redemption’ is a film that thrills his spectator from the first to the last minute, showing the adaptive factor found in the human being.
2º – American Beauty (Sam Mendes, 1999)
A middle-aged man, involved in a family and professional routine that is not very rewarding, decides to break with the erratic bonds of his life, giving rise to a new and unique model of behaving. Directed by Sam Mendes, ‘American Beauty’ distinguishes the rotten interior of some middle-class families of American society, exposing all the claudicant nature that comprises its members.
1º – Se7en (David Fincher, 1995)
The film shows the hunt of two detectives for a serial killer who uses capital sins as motivations for his crimes. Directed by David Fincher, one of the great names in the thriller genre today, ‘Seven’ has a concise script, an assertive atmosphere and, of course, an incredible plot twist.
