8º – Fire Down Below (Félix Enríquez Alcalá, 1997)Taking shape in a small rural town, the plot brings the battle of an undercover federal agent who fights to preserve the health of local people after suspecting that a large company is damaging the health of people with biologically dangerous evictions. ‘Underground Threat’ brings actor Steven Seagal in a different film than he is used to, with less action and gunfire and more drama and a sense of adventure. A good option within the actor’s filmography.
7º – Exit Wounds (Andrzej Bartkowiak, 2001)In the plot, a policeman tries to destroy an internal network of corruption within his corporation, starting a real war. Nurturing an intense action that lasts from the first to the last minute, ‘Corruption Network’ may be Steven Seagal’s last decent work, telling an attractive story and well directed scenes that impress.
