Quite expressive genre within the seventh art, the novel has delivered us hundreds of great films over the years. Taking this into account, we have brought ten films of the genre that, however, run away from the traditional conceptions traced, building stories that unravel a little-touched compendium of the novel. In the plot, two couples, by mere figure of chance, have their paths crossed, entering into an exacerbated affective routine. ‘Closer’ is a film different from the genre of romance, raising a rustic story about the heart of affective relationships, changing its plot to each scene overcome.
9º – Annie Hall (Woody Allen, 1977)
A completely neurotic television comedian falls in love with a woman as misfit as he. Together, the two will go through the most diverse dilemmas of everyday life. Woody Allen’s masterpiece, the film features a comedy atmosphere for a story that blends humor and romance with a flawless construction of its characters.
