3º – Minority Report (Steven Spielberg, 2002)
By focusing on the future, in which technological advances have enabled murderers to be captured even before they commit their crimes, a man discovers that he will be the next name in the system. ‘Minority Report’ has a plot permeated by nuances, always valuing creativity, giving the viewer a very interesting and dynamic film.
2º – The Ninth Gate (Roman Polanski, 1999)
A collector and detective of extremely rare books comes across several problems when he is hired to find lost copies of demonic texts. Directed by the fantastic Roman Polanski, ‘The Ninth Gate’ stands out for its unique mystery atmosphere, which provides the spectator with a suspense of first quality.
1º – Savages (Oliver Stone, 2012)
The film follows the hectic daily life of a gang of young people involved in crime. A regular film with a few positive moments, ‘Savages’ exposes an Oliver Stone who is practically unrecognizable as a director, with mistakes from beginning to end. However, what makes this film not recommended is its ending that borders the pathetic, challenging the common sense and intelligence of the spectators when using – trying not to give too many spoilers – the figure of the scenes ” and if …”, when everything we see for 10 minutes is ignored in the next shot.
