7º – Crash (Paul Haggis, 2004)
We will explore the tragic tangle of various characters linked only by the figure of chance, always having as background the figure of the city of Los Angeles. This film follows a more visceral pattern in its model of history, bringing social criticism, assertive scores on human nature and pondering possible solutions for certain events. A good film that certainly deserves to be watched.
6º – Avatar (James Cameron, 2009)
A soldier is sent to another world in order to fulfill certain objectives. However, little by little, man will find himself completely in love with the local cultures, questioning the meaning of his mission. ‘Avatar’ is regular in his execution, and it’s worth it even for his unique visual effects and for counting on the figure of James Cameron in his direction.
