24º – Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close (Stephen Daldry, 2011)
A boy begins a journey in an attempt to unravel some mysteries about his father who died in the tragic September 11th. ‘Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close’ is an exciting work, with a story that moves from simply but reaching crucial points, whether from childhood itself or existence.
23º – Broken Flowers (Jim Jarmusch, 2005)
Wrapped in an empty, discouraging reality, a middle-aged man, after receiving a mysterious letter he states that he has a son, starts a journey looking for all women who have had some importance in your life. Specifying a hardened layer of the weather character in our central character, ‘Broken Flowers’ works with the importance of this in the life of the human being, taking advantage of an assertive direction and a flawless performance of actor Bill Murray.
22º – Crimes and Misdemeanors (Woody Allen, 1989)
Broken into two separate stories, the film works with the look of betrayal in their plots, exposing erratic bonds contained in the human heart in the world. Masterpiece of Woody Allen, ‘Crimes and Misdemeanors’ work sincerely with the intricacies comprising life, bringing in its two central characters stories that even very different in the way they behave, explain exactly the same destructive concepts.
21º – La vie de bohème (Aki Kaurismäki, 1992)
Three artists lame middle-aged melancholy spend their days arguing about past events in their lives. Belonging to Aki Kaurismaki film, ‘La vie de Boheme” works with the traditional cold and gloomy atmosphere of the director to guide his scenes permeated by a passive humor that entertains intelligently. A great movie, portraying characters that exposes what is most common and simple life.
