Much more than a simple entertainment option, a number of works of art offer a work of art that transcends a fictional series. With this in view, we brought films that worked with the pessimists of the world in their plots. All the films cited are true masterpieces, becoming obsolete on the dense issues on the subjects. However, more than that, they are conceptually heavy works, which require much of their viewer, not being suitable for all kinds of utility. Let’s go to the list!
10º – The Match Factory Girl (Aki Kaurismäki, 1990)Suffering from the destructive onslaughts of the social milieu, a young woman resolved by taking an extreme attitude. Belonging to Finnish filmmaker Aki Kaurismaki’s unique work, this work is a pearl, spelling out every negative word a traditional society has. Great movie, with a last duration and extremely important.
9º – I Stand Alone (Gaspar Noé, 1998)The film uncovers the day-to-day of an unscrupulous butcher, spelling out every erratic arc of his life. Disruptive in its overall apparatus, ‘I Stand Alone’ is a daunting film in every scene exposed, not being recommended for all purposes, although it is not recognized as assertive in its decisions.
