7º – Do the Right Thing (Spike Lee, 1989)In the midst of the hot Brooklyn scenery, in summer, we will follow the daily lives of several residents of a poor neighborhood, glimpsing their ways of consummate their relationships with the world. Spike Lee’s masterpiece, ‘Do the Right Thing’ works with the simplest instances of life, making no concessions by showing the dilemmas of the characters studied, as well as eventual pleasures and displeasures in their journeys.
6º – Three Colors: Red (Krzysztof Kieslowski, 1994)In the plot, a young woman runs over an old man’s dog, initiating a strange friendship with the man after the event. A masterpiece of cinema, ‘Three Colors: Red’ explains how important the figure of friendship is for the human compendium in the world, bringing eventual errors of our journey in the world and how it is always easier to overcome them in the company of another person.
