3º – The Wailing (Hong-jin Na, 2016)Soon after the arrival of a strange man, people from a village begin to develop strange pathologies, completely changing the way they behave. It’s up to a clumsy policeman to find out the reasons for all that is happening. ‘The Wailing’ has a first hour of film with a high level of intensity, raising an atmosphere of fantastic horror. However, the film falls a long way after that, becoming, at certain moments, inhospitable. But it is the recommendation of a good choice for Korean cinema.
2º – 1917 (Sam Mendes, 2019)The film brings the journey of some British soldiers on an almost impossible mission during the First World War. ‘1917’ is a good war film, nurturing sad moments and plenty of action.
1º – Looper (Rian Johnson, 2012)In the plot, allocated in the future, we will follow the journeys of some maladjusted characters from their social environment in search of the most diverse objectives, whether they are the simple search for survival or the simple desire to eliminate someone. ‘Looper’ brings a different aesthetic, a type of action that opts for more adrenaline and marked twists and turns.
