5º – Caché (Michael Haneke, 2005)
After being threatened by a series of anonymous video tapes left on their doorstep, showing an espionage of their daily lives, a couple see their social and private lives enter into an inexorable degenerative process. Its director, Michael Haneke, uses a lot of elements from the characters’ past, showing how some structures of our lives simply cannot be forgotten.
4º – Funny Games (Michael Haneke, 1997)
A couple with their little boy decides to spend a few quiet days in a paradise hut. However, a couple of troubled young people try to prevent this from happening. The graphic content of the film does not shock so much, but rather the psychological content. ‘Funny Games’ is a denunciation of human violence.
