10 Movies That Show the Real Side of World

8º – The Grapes of Wrath (John Ford, 1940)A poor family is forced to leave their land and cross the United States in an old truck looking for a place to live. Sadly in each of his ways, ‘The Grapes of Wrath’, much more than exposing the turbulent and suffering phases that the human being goes through on his journey in the world, he explains the destructive arch that a crippling social model has in the lives of the most individuals. Unmistakable masterpiece by John Ford.

7º – The Broken Circle Breakdown (Felix Van Groeningen, 2012)The film explores some years of the relationship between a couple, unraveling all the positives and negatives of their lives, as well as bringing a rustic picture about the constitution of the concept of suffering in the human being. ‘The Broken Circle Breakdown’ is a sad movie, but it also manages to bring several of the positive aspects of the human being. A great movie, which will certainly take a few tears away from you when you watch it.

6º – Love Liza (Todd Louiso, 2002)Perhaps the most daunting of this list, ‘Love Liza’ brings the journey of a man after his wife commit suicide without giving any explanation. We will follow the melancholic and nihilistic form that man governs his daily life, seeing himself completely lost without the presence of an answer to what happened. Everything here is very difficult. We do not have a single sketch of a positive fragment throughout the film. It is worth mentioning that, although excellent, this work is far from being suitable for all types of public.

5º – The Station Agent (Tom McCarthy, 2003)A man who was born with dwarfism decides to leave his life in a big city behind after his boss dies and leave him a residence in a secluded city. ‘The Station Agent’ rules the events of his plot under a melancholy aura, exploring characters who deal with suffering every day in their lives. However, far from being sad in its completeness, this film shows how setbacks are part of human life, providing a pleasant look at the exacerbated instances of our day to day.
