7º – Melancholia (Lars von Trier, 2011)
We will explore some short periods of the lives of two sisters, capturing a wedding night of one of them, working with their inherent melancholy in every act, and, at another time, small stretches of the two and their families before an accident that will destroy life in the Earth. ‘Melancholia’ nourishes positive and negative moments, standing out even for its good exposure of the sad nuances that comprise depression.
