9º – Mary and Max (Adam Elliot, 2009)The film explores the friendship between an old gentleman and a small girl, both embedded in a solitary and dull routine. Nourishing a melancholy aura for the development of plot events, the work is sweet and gentle, bringing unpleasant components of human life in a beautiful, almost poetic way.
8º – Malcolm X (Spike Lee, 1992)Based on the life of Malcolm X, the plot shows the most important events of one of the greatest figures of the twentieth century. Nourishing more than three hours of duration, the film follows a rustic pattern of rhythm, with a story that moves slowly, trying to make explicit each concept completely trod. Far from serving as a limiting factor, this decision to leave the film slow only makes the viewer experience deeper and more substantial. It is also worth mentioning the great performance of Denzel Washington as the protagonist of the work.
