2º – Scream (Wes Craven, 1996)
Shortly after her mother’s death, a young woman and her friends are pursued by a strange masked killer. Directed by Wes Craven, one of the greatest exponents of horror cinema, ‘Scream’ is the most popular film of the genre in the 1990s, responsible for the emergence of a new form of making terror, managing to reinvent famous clichés.
1º – The Wild Life (Art Linson, 1984)
The plot of the film is superficial, exposing the lives of some teenagers in an unbridled search for alcohol and women. Little known of the decade, ‘The Wild Life’ presents a story that amuses for its simplicity. Another interesting factor is that the film is scripted by Cameron Crowe, a filmmaker who would have his career leveraged in the 1990s in works with exactly the same theme found here.
