4º – Toy Story (John Lasseter, 1995)
The film follows the lives of some toys and their owner, catching the various confusions between them, the arrival of a new component in the group, the conflicts with a cruel neighbor and, yet, a troubled new change. ‘Toy Story’ is one of the best-known animations ever conceived, bringing a story that manages to entertain in an assertive way all ages, never falling into the traditional clichés of the category.
3º – Pineapple Express (David Gordon Green, 2008)
Two immature men get involved in a deadly mess with a drug dealer, initiating a ceaseless escape. Hilarious comedy from the first to the last scene, ‘Pineapple Express’ benefits from the productive construction of the misadjusted personalities of its two central characters to give dynamism to the story. A film that manages to promote laughter without sounding offensive or forced in their situations.
