8º – Black Cadillac (John Murlowski, 2003)Three young men, with no apparent explanation, start being chased by a strange black cadillac during a winter night. We will follow this creepy and frightening chase, always with surprises appearing on screen. Odd suspense, ‘Black Cadillac’ explains the best in road movies, driving a plot that happens almost exclusively in motion, inside the car where the three meet, always cherishing an atmosphere of mystery about why it is happening.
7º – Fast Times at Ridgemont High (Amy Heckerling, 1982)The plot is simple, seeking to unravel the daily lives of a group of adolescents from a California school in their search for what is most common in this troubled period of the human being. The film governs a carefree aura, providing the viewer with the most common and fun elements of adolescent films of the time. ‘Fast Times at Ridgemont High’ still gives us one of the most celebrated characters of the decade, the misfit Jeff Spicoli, played by Sean Penn.
