7º – Cast Away (Robert Zemeckis, 2000)
After surviving an air crash, a man finds himself completely isolated on an island, having to learn how to deal with his new way of life. ‘Cast Away’ is a great film, but the whole brightness of the work is due to the presence of Tom Hanks. There is no place for other characters in the plot, this is a one-man movie, and the presence of a quality actor was essential for us to continue to remember and put this work debut the greats of the adventure genre.
6º – No Country for Old Men (Joel and Ethan Coen, 2007)
A man sees the opportunity of his life after finding a huge amount of money in a place where a failed negotiation between drug cartels had taken place. However, little by little, the man will realize that keeping the money was the biggest mistake of his life. One of the greatest thriller films ever conceived, ‘No Country for Old Men’ is a film class by the Coen brothers. Each arranged plan works to impact the spectator, bringing crucial physical and psychological components to what the script proposes.
