2º – Office Space (Mike Judge, 1999)
Like the movie above, ‘Office Space’ amuses the viewer by exposing common situations to them, always mixing with an exacerbated use of humor. The work is evidenced by the film as a harmful sphere to the human being, curtailing its powers and virtues, besides destroying dreams and longings.
1º – Liar Liar (Tom Shadyac, 1997)
Living in a routine of lies in his daily life, a man will have to spend a certain amount of time without being able to lie, after missing his son’s party and he wishes his father would not lie anymore. ‘The Liar’ is a comedy that manages to entertain the viewer with a great conjunction of the most common elements of the genre, reaching its apex exactly in Jim Carrey’s performance.
