3º – Terminator: Dark Fate (Tim Miller, 2019)
Using Sarah Connor’s return to the franchise, this episode shows the heroine’s trajectory in her battle to save a young girl from a last generation exterminator sent from the future. The Terminator of the Future – Dark Destiny rescues many of the classic elements of the franchise, elevating a frantic movie, incredible characters, impressive action sequences, and a plot that challenges the viewer with its various interpretations for the events counted.
2º – Twelve Monkeys (Terry Gilliam, 1995)
Taking as a starting point a vision of an apocalyptic future, with humanity almost decimated by a plague, we will see the mission of a detainee who receives the opportunity to get out of prison in order to go back in time and fix some details that would turn out to be catastrophic for humanity. Complex from beginning to end, ‘The 12 Monkeys’ is a good science fiction film, with a story that challenges us every minute, a unique construction of the world and interesting performances by actors Bruce Willis and Brad Pitt.
1º – Fight Club (David Fincher, 1999)
Involved in an empty routine in his work, a man knows an individual who is completely the opposite of his personality that will change his way of looking at the world. Directed by David Fincher, ‘Fight Club’ works with a dark cinematography, constructions of always different scenes and the study of renegade characters to give substance to his powerful and surprising story.
