4º – Rear Window (Alfred Hitchcock, 1954)
After suffering an accident and breaking one’s legs, a professional photographer finds himself stuck in an insanitary recovery routine in his apartment. Without having much to do, the man decides to spy with his camera the apartments of the neighboring building. The plot gains its substance when the man becomes convinced that one of the apartments that he was spying would have happened a murder. Alfred Hitchcock’s masterpiece, ‘Rear Window’ is one of the great films in the history of the seventh art. All the genius of Hitchcock is present in the film, using a clever plot that can generate shivers in the viewer in a simple way.
