9º – Home Alone (Chris Columbus, 1990)
In the plot, a boy has to turn around alone at home on Christmas Eve after his family forgets him. Like ‘Christmas Vacation’, ‘Home Alone’ is one of the most emblematic Christmas movies ever made. The film still has the John Hughes label, being responsible for the script, leaving the direction with the great Chris Columbus.
8º – Back to the Future (Robert Zemeckis, 1985)
In the plot, a young man is accidentally sent by a scientist unsuited to the past, in an experience that had been mistaken. Now, it is up to the young man to try to adapt to the year 1955, to undertake a search for a return to the present and to avoid tampering with the usual chronology of time. ‘Back to the Future’ explains what the best of the 1980s offered to the seventh art. Its concise and dynamic story involves the spectator from beginning to end of the film, gaining strength in each scene surpassed.
