3º – Crash (David Cronenberg, 1996)After getting involved in a serious car accident, a man ends up discovering a strange cult that gets pleasure from experiencing car collisions. Short and permeated by scenes with an exacerbated sexual content, ‘Crash’ proposes a plot that deals with the human relationship with the most diverse paraphernalia, exploring a forgotten side of the social layer.
2º – The Wicker Man (Robin Hardy, 1973)A policeman arrives on a small private island to investigate a possible disappearance of a child. In the place, the policeman begins to suspect that something much more gloomy permeates the residents, with bizarre and mysterious habits. As he progresses in his investigation, secret will come out, important names of the place will come out of the penumbras and an uncool surprise will appear to the policeman. “The Wicker Man” is worth every minute of exhibition. An emblematic film for the terror of the 1970’s, with a fascinating plot that creeps us out with every outdated scene.
1º – The Skin I Live In (Pedro Almodóvar, 2011)A successful plastic surgeon keeps a woman imprisoned, using her for some scientific experiments. However, the plot reserves more than it presents in its initial scenes, surprising with its decisions. ‘The Skin i Live In’ follows the direction model of filmmaker Pedro Almodóvar, bringing to the viewer a plot permeated by completely unexpected twists.
