8º – Hardbodies (Mark Griffiths, 1984)Three middle-aged friends decide to rent a small summer house near the beach to try to attract women and take advantage of the heat. Nevertheless, the lack of traquejo in the invests of the three ends up changing the direction of the things. ‘ Hardbodies’ is in essence a bad movie, but the inclusion of classic elements of the decade and its lack of seriousness make the experience of watching it satisfactory.
7º – Private Resort (George Bowers, 1985)Two teenagers see themselves as guest guests of an elegant holiday resort. There, the two will get into a lot of confusion in search of women. Fun and uncompromising, ‘ Private Resort’ still brings us the presence of young Johnny Depp as one of the protagonists.
6º – Top Gun (Tony Scott, 1986)A young aspiring aerial fighter pilot enters a specialized academy to try to fulfill his dream. However, intrinsic to the competitiveness of the place, the young will have to deal with new passions, ghosts of the past and new traumas of the profession. ‘Top Gun’ is a landmark of the 1980s. Its pleasant atmosphere, intense performances, intermittent action and especially its pulsating soundtrack have made it the unforgettable name of the decade.
5º – Fast Times at Ridgemont High (Amy Heckerling, 1982)The plot is simple, trying to unravel the day-to-day life of a group of teenagers from a California school in their quest for what is most common in the troubled period in humans. The film rules a carefree aura, providing the viewer with the most common and fun elements of teenage films of the time. ‘ Fast Times at Ridgemont High’ still gives us one of the most celebrated characters of the decade, the misfit Jeff Spicoli, played by Sean Penn.
