7º – Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (Michel Gondry, 2004)The adventures and setbacks of a couple are distinguished by this film, always against the backdrop of a non-chronological aura of scenes that demand the maximum from their spectator. Here, Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet play characters quite different from those they have consumed in their films, in a dense and visually impeccable drama.
6º – The Danish Girl (Tom Hooper, 2015)Allocated in the first half of the 20th century, the film tells the story of a man who, after finding a joke with his wife and dressing as a woman, ends up obsessed with the details of female beauty. We will gain the substance of the plot by unraveling the fight of the central character to assume his female persona, in view of an extremely prejudiced society at the time. Impeccable from beginning to end, ‘The Danish Girl’ has a story that starts from a unique subtlety, as well as small sad specters that move the viewer. It is also worth mentioning Eddie Redmayne’s beautiful performance in front of the central character.
