After accepting the offer and moving to New York, the lawyer eventually realizes that his job and his companions are not quite what he expected. ‘The Devil’s Advocate’ deals with the greed inserted in human social contact and further clarifies the philosophical concept of will to power. Al Pacino is the agent of the company that hires the lawyer and delivers a performance of pure intensity, characterizing it as one of the best of his career.
