7º – Misery (Rob Reiner, 1990)
In the plot, a successful writer, after suffering a serious accident in a sparsely populated place, finds himself in the hands of his biggest and most insane fan, starting to start a battle for his life and sanity. ‘Misery’, based on the novel by Stephen King, brings us the character Annie Wilkes, masterfully performed by Kathy Bates, making herself an unforgettable villain.
6º – Naked Lunch (David Cronenberg, 1991)
Strange in all its ways, the film works in its plot with the trajectory of an exterminator of insects that is surrounded, by mere figure of chance, in a great conspiracy that can cost his life. ‘Naked Lunch’ is the most peculiar work of David Cronenberg’s already unique cinema, nourishing positive and negative points, sure to be assisted.
