3º – Black Swan (Darren Aronofsky, 2010)A dancer is given the opportunity to perform a great dance performance. However, the process of preparation for the event ends up gradually taking away the sanity of the young woman, leaving her in a fight between reality and hallucinations. ‘Black Swan’ works with a plot that changes over every outdated scene, permeated by twists and assertively studying the figure of its central character.
2º – Girl, Interrupted (James Mangold, 1999)The film explores the passage of a young woman through a psychiatric institution after being diagnosed with a personality disorder. ‘Girl, Interrupted’ is a good movie, bringing several fragments of an unpleasant psychiatric reality. Here, Winona Ryder has the performance of her life as protagonist, standing out among the rest of the cast.
1º – One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (Milos Forman, 1975)Trying to escape from prison, a man claims insanity and will stop at a psychiatric institution. There, he will learn more about himself, will realize that his stay in the place would be more difficult than he thought and will alter the daily life of the other patients. Despite the good cast, it is Jack Nicholson who stands out, taking the acting out of his life as well as one of the best ever seen in the seventh art.
