The monsters approached by the films below include not only the creatures that come from other worlds or that appear out of nowhere in their gigantic forms, but also those animals with abnormal proportions that terrorize small towns and their inhabitants. 10º – Godzilla (Gareth Edwards, 2014)A gigantic monster emerges out of nowhere and threatens the future of all humanity. Godzilla’ leaves aside an eventual mystery and terror of versions of the past and positions itself alongside frenetic action. A film without much history there, but which makes up for in gigantic scenes and, of course, the iconic figure of the monster in question.

 

9º – Cloverfield (Matt Reeves, 2008)New York becomes the target of strange destructive events of strange creatures on an ordinary day. We will follow the journey of some young people who witness all of this in their attempts to discover what it is and, also, to survive. Cloverfield’ surprises and delivers to its audience 85 minutes of a distressing plot. One of the best films about monsters and tragedies ever conceived.
