7º – The Hateful Eight (Quentin Tarantino, 2015)
Through a big blizzard, several maladjusted characters find themselves trapped in a cabin. In place, lies and truths will emerge, resulting in a series of extreme events. ‘The Hateful Eight’ is a good film, managing to gain dynamism with the use of a single environment, in a concise and dense plot. The highlight in the cast goes to Samuel L. Jackson, having the performance of his life, showing a very high intensity in each scene that is present.
6º – Tequila Sunrise (Robert Towne, 1988)
The film shows the duel between a drug dealer and a federal agent, exploring each other’s goals, their exacerbated behaviors and their love relationships. ‘Tequila Sunrise’ is an option from the 1980s, raising the figure of a simple but punctual plot, completely supported by the performances of Kurt Russell and Mel Gibson.
