9º – Hellboy (Neil Marshall, 2019) Cost: $50,000,000‘Hellboy’ takes advantage of the wave of film about superheroes to try to catch a good slice of the niche audience. However, the terrible work of director Neil Marshall and company makes it impossible to get anything profitable out of this adaptation of Mike Mignola’s comics.

 

8º – Final Fantasy (Hironobu Sakaguchi, 2001) Cost: $137,000,000Absolute success in video games of several generations, ‘Final Fantasy’ does not achieve the same success in cinema. Its aesthetics similar to the ‘cut-scenes’ of the consoles makes the film more of the same and prevents new audiences from being reached, being limited only to its faithful fans.
