4º – Cinderella Man (Ron Howard, 2005)
The film presents the nuances of the life of Jim Braddock, a humble boxer, exploring his difficult trajectory in the world. Sad in some of its ways, ‘Cinderella Man’ reaches its highest point by showing the concept of perseverance contained in the human being. The actor Paul Giamatti assumes a secondary character in the film, serving as point of connection for certain fragments of the plot.
3º – Man on the Moon (Milos Forman, 1999)
We will explore the life of comedian Andy Kaufman, realizing his erratic way of dealing with the world and his inseparable talent. ‘Man on the Moon’ is a great movie. Jim Carrey plays the protagonist, giving the viewer the best performance of his career. The film also leaves a good space for Paul Giamatti to be able to act productively, also standing out positively.

Based on the life of comic book writer Harvey Pekar, the story will go on all his life, showing the possible mishaps of his journey, as well as his strange and misbehaving behavior. Flawless performance by Paul Giamatti at the head of the film.

Taking advantage of a pleasant and melancholy atmosphere, the film shows the tangle of conflicts from four characters embarking on an erratic journey in the world. Irresistable in each chosen path, ‘Sideways’ features the best of the films of great director Alexander Payne.
